EARLY KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
An Alternative to Pre-K for 4 Year Olds
At Strive Charter School, we admit children to kindergarten when they turn 4 years old. Then, we assess each child and give each child the instruction they need based on their developmental level. Students can spend two years in kindergarten if that is best for them.

A FOCUS ON CONFIDENCE
We meet every child where they are.
Not all 4-year-olds are at the same level — and that’s okay. When your child starts, we take time to understand their needs and abilities. Some children are just beginning to recognize letters. Others are already reading. We support both — and everyone in between.
LEARNING THROUGH PLAY
Reading, building, playing — that’s the curriculum.
Early-K at Strive is built around proven phonics, hands-on math, and joyful exploration. No worksheets. No screens. Kids learn by doing — in an environment designed for curious young childrne.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Start at Strive at 4. Stay through 5th grade.
Early-K isn’t a separate program — it’s the beginning of a K–5 journey. Children who start here build friendships, routines, and skills that carry them all the way through elementary school. Same teachers. Same community. Same school.

Admission is free. Apply today — we’ll be in touch to confirm your spot.
